Here is the schedule for all lectures and exams for our 2025 General Histology course.

Next to each lecture, you’ll find the lecture slides in two formats (ppt and pdf). All of our lectures are scheduled to be recorded, and I’ll post each lecture recording on this page as soon as it is available (usually the same day as the lecture).

Most of our lectures will be in-person and held in 2-620 Moos. However, I will be out of the country during October, and there are four class periods that will be affected:

• October 2: Respiratory System
• October 7: Female Reproductive System
• October 9: Male Reproductive System
• October 14: Exam 3 Review Kahoot

Since I can’t be in class in person on those dates, I’ve posted last year’s lecture videos for 10/7 and 10/9 as well as the Exam 3 Review Kahoot below for you to go through at your convenience.

All exams will be delivered online via ExamSoft. They will be available all day, so you can take them whenever you want during that time frame. I’ll give you specific information about each exam (password, number of questions etc.) several days prior to each exam date.

WEEK 3

Thursday, August 28
Exam 1 (covers all lectures from August 11 – August 20). Here’s how our exams will work:

• They are all delivered online via Examsoft.
• As we get closer to the exam date, I’ll send you the number of questions per lecture,  and the exam password, and any other stuff I think you need to know.
• The exams is open all day (from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm) and you can take it any time/place you want.
• Once you start, you’ll have 2 hours to complete the exam (unless you have accommodations, in which case please send me an email!)
• The school does not cover exam monitoring – but I trust you to be on the honor system and not use notes or books during the exam.
• Be sure to submit the exam before the 11:59 pm deadline.
• You’ll get your score when you exit the exam.
• After the exam is over, I’ll see how you guys did on each question to make sure that there weren’t any problematic questions. Then I’ll post grades on Canvas.
